We’re looking for a Delivery Manager to join our Finance IT team. As a Delivery Manager, you’ll use your expertise to help define "what great looks like" and generate action to craft those behaviors! If you are an advocate for agile methodology, enjoy working across multiple disciplines, and look to help shape strategic outcomes, this is an excellent opportunity for you!


Here are a few examples of the kinds of things you’ll do:

  • Road Mapping: Develop, manage, and update product roadmaps that reflect both short-term priorities and long-term strategic goals. Ensure alignment with stakeholders across teams, including business and development.
  • Story Mapping: Lead story mapping workshops to break down high-level features into actionable user stories, working closely with Business Owners and developers to define the product vision.
  • Define, orchestrate, manage and lead all aspects of the holistic product life-cycle, delivery cadence, release plan and sprint schedule to one or more teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize features and ensure that the product roadmap aligns with market needs, customer feedback, and business strategy.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of the product backlog, facilitating prioritization and refinement of stories based on user feedback and business needs.
  • Partner with agile team members to solution and deliver outcomes.
  • Lead a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging experimentation. Foster an environment of innovation, discovery, and growth.

Who You Are:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree (preference in a computer science, technology, engineering or math-related field) and 3 years’ work experience or equivalent experience
  • 4 - 6 years of Agile team experience in any well-known software environment preferred
  • 3 years’ experience managing software/application development projects
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, activities and tasks under time constraints
  • Ability to interface with executives and stakeholders regarding issues of project scope and status
  • Knowledge of insurance and financial services products preferred
  • Advanced planning/organizational, problem-solving, analytical, decision-making and communication skills required
  • Basic leadership and presentations skills required
  • Must be able to maintain a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality
  • Some travel required, including overnight stays
  • Ability to work on cross-functional teams and collaborate with both IT and non-IT partners

Skills That Will Help You Stand Out

  • Hands-on experience with story mapping and breaking down features into actionable user stories.
  • Proven track record of creating and managing product roadmaps and aligning them with business strategy.
  • Knowledge of banking, insurance and financial services.
Salary Range Information: Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range: $81900 - $182400 / year Time Off Program: Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided. Pension Eligible: Yes Additional Information:
Work Environments
This role is located in our corporate headquarters in Des Moines, IA. This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), in our Des Moines office.
