What You'll Do:
Join a dynamic team at the forefront of global investment risk management. What You’ll Do:

  • Provide independent, objective assessments of portfolio risks to guide informed, risk-based decisions in partnership with investment teams.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on daily investment risks using tools like exposure analysis, VaR, scenario analysis, and stress testing.
  • Collaborate on strategic initiatives involving data processing, risk modeling, and quantitative analysis.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to investment teams—translating complex risk data into actionable insights and presenting key findings to senior leaders.
  • Design and enhance risk dashboards and analytics across portfolios, asset classes, and firm-wide.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in risk modeling and analytics, continuously recommending improvements.
  • Promote a culture of risk awareness through training and ongoing engagement with business partners.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Strong expertise in investment risk management, ideally within equity and/or fixed income.
  • Deep analytical and technical skills, with experience in risk modeling and tools.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and educate across teams.
  • Proven track record of leading strategic projects and driving risk-based decision making.
Who You Are:
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (Finance, Econometrics, or Statistics), CFA or FRM strongly preferred.
  • 10 years of relevant experience in investment or risk management, ideally within asset management.
  • Deep knowledge of risk management practices with hands-on experience using tools like Barra, Aladdin, Bloomberg, or Axioma.
  • Strong expertise in equity and/or fixed income risk, with a solid grasp of market, credit, and liquidity risks, stress testing, VaR, and scenario analysis.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills; able to lead, collaborate, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and skilled in programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB; experience with machine learning is a plus.
  • Comfortable presenting to senior leadership, boards, and committees.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally and comply with SEC and background check requirements.
