We’re looking for a Procurement Specialist II to join our Corporate Accounting team. In this role, you’ll make purchases for goods and services that meet the customers’ needs regarding pricing and timing. Manage supplier data and complete requests for supplier and contract information.
- Consult with internal business customers by analyzing needs and providing advice and guidance to be most effective.
- Make purchases for goods and services that meet the customers’ needs regarding pricing and timing. Key accountabilities include ensuring the purchase supports accounts payable and asset management processes, consulting and communicating with customers regarding product needs and order status and providing guidance on procurement procedures which may include sourcing processes, approval processes, payment requirements, and systems requirements.
- Manage supplier data and complete requests for supplier and contract information. Accurately and efficiently enter supplier and contract data. Maintain ongoing accuracy of supplier and contract data.
- Provide training as needed to internal customers and others in the department on relevant procurement functions.
- Build knowledge of sourcing best practices so strategy, contract negotiations and purchasing processes are effective, competitive, and efficient.
- Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.

Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 2 - 4 years of related experience
- Intermediate PC skills required with the ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and pay strict attention to detail while using multiple technology systems
- Must have excellent organizational, problem solving, and communication skills
- Must have the ability to handle stressful situations
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills required
Salary Range Information
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)
$20.84 - $39.81 / hour
Time Off Program
Personal Time Off (PTO) is provided to hourly (non-exempt) employees and provides a set amount of accrued time earned each pay period. Employees can use their PTO for vacation, personal or short-term illness.

Work Environments
This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from Des Moines, IA, or Charlotte, NC). You’ll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
