The Mobile App Product Manager 1 will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in mobile app experience, user experience design, and project management. This role will manage complex or highly sensitive products, typically supported by multiple teams within or across lines of business. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of market trends, user needs, and the competitive landscape to drive the product vision and execution. They demonstrate competence when managing complex stakeholder and organizational dynamics. Your goal will be to enhance our mobile presence, increase user engagement, and drive customer satisfaction.
Product Strategy:
- Develop and implement the product vision and strategy for the mobile app.
- Define and prioritize the product roadmap based on market research, customer feedback, business goals, and technical feasibility.
- Identify opportunities for new features and improvements to enhance user experience and engagement.
- Partners with Director or Senior Director of Product Management and other product managers to ensure product strategies align to deliver on business and enterprise strategies.
Product Discovery:
- Accountable for understanding and defining key business outcomes and requirements for their product.
- Articulates hypotheses and leads the product team(s) (design, engineering, and various business roles) to deeply understand complex problems and solutions through experimentation.
- Responsible for bringing the data and insights to the table for product teams and stakeholders to understand and consume (in collaboration with design/experience experts)
Product Delivery:
- Coordinate with designers, developers, QA testers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to deliver high-quality mobile app products.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery Ensures customer, user, and stakeholder insights are embedded in each stage of the product management life-cycle to enable efficient and effective use of delivery resources.
Product Assessment:
- Ensures every goal-aligned unit of value created by multiple teams is measurable and can show progress towards overall product objectives.
- Monitor and communicate product health, impact of product releases, and progress against product goals.
- Accountable for ensuring product teams utilize data to gauge performance and inform strategic revision and discovery.
- Storytelling of the multiple products/product teams and the interconnectivity of them when assessing the results and sharing back with the AD or Dir of Product Management and stakeholders.
Product Leadership:
- Provides strong mobile app product vision, understanding industry opportunities.
- 2 years of business, technology, or product management experience; or equivalent demonstrated through the following: work experience, military experience, or education.
- Experience with mobile app development projects from concept to launch.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple products.
- Demonstrated success establishing product strategy and demonstrated success managing complex stakeholder expectations in a product environment.
- Demonstrated success in both discovery and delivery against product outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and make decisions in a fast-paced environment, in multiple teams/functional areas/organizations.
- 1 years working in a highly collaborative, fast-paced product environment with product or engineering teams and stakeholders.
