Risk Management Specialist (Business Intelligence)

What You'll Do

Do you enjoy supporting risk management operations in a collaborative and supportive organization? If so, Principal's Enterprise Risk Management team has an opening for a Risk Management Specialist to support our Reporting and Analytics program! This role offers an opportunity to be part of transformational change and make an impact on how our team supports risk programs across the enterprise.

 

In this role, the selected candidate will:

• Perform data related research and root cause analysis activities
• Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI datasets
• Utilize Power BI to generate risk reports and metrics, collaborating with risk teams to suggest new and innovative reporting to meet business needs
• Perform risk analysis to identify risk trends and insights related to business and enterprise risk
• Communicate and partner with key business and risk stakeholders

Who You Are

• Bachelor degree or equivalent.
• 5 years of broad risk management experience (includes actuarial, legal, compliance, audit or direct oversight of a business process with accountability for compliance or risk management).
• 2 years of Power BI experience
• Must possess analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively at all levels in the organization.

Salary Range Information

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)

$77350 - $147600 / year
Time Off Program

Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.
