What You'll Do

We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic to join our team as a Sales Support Associate – Principal Real Estate Investors.  We pride ourselves on our ambition and drive to compete in the financial services market. Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with business partners to develop and implement marketing, sales, and client service strategies in support of Principal Real Estate.
• Assist in the development and implementation of marketing and sales initiatives to strengthen investor relationships.
• Manage sales compliance processes and help create and manage investment marketing collateral, content, reports, analyses, and communications.
• Support sales meetings and conferences, ensuring flawless execution and providing necessary assistance.

 

In addition to the specific responsibilities and requirements, this role offers unique opportunities for growth and development. You will have the chance to collaborate with internal customers to understand our firm's products, strategy, and direction, allowing you to support ongoing initiatives effectively. You will also serve as an internal resource for sales, collecting and disseminating information to prospects and clients while our sales staff is on the road.

Who You Are

We are looking for someone with:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Previous internship or work experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Ability to understand investment-related terms and apply them to communication and marketing materials.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of the financial services market and products is preferred
• Build and maintain positive relationships
• Excellent abilities in the areas of problem solving, project management, decision making, and communication (verbal and written), skills
• Detail oriented and have excellent planning, and time management skills
• Ability to handle expectations, attend to details, balance multiple projects, and prioritize effectively

Salary Range Information

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)

$27.40 - $37.45 / hour
Time Off Program

Personal Time Off (PTO) is provided to hourly (non-exempt) employees and provides a set amount of accrued time earned each pay period. Employees can use their PTO for vacation, personal or short-term illness.

Work Environments

This role offers the ability for in-office or hybrid (blending both office and remote work in a typical workweek) work arrangements. Typically, you will work in the office Monday-Thursday and at home on Fridays.  

 

Location

This role will be based out of our Corporate Headquarters located in Des Moines, IA.
