- Expand Life & Disability Income (DI) Distribution's presence in the small - medium sized business marketplace within an assigned territory (Midwest and West).
- Provide advance case design expertise for business owner and executive solutions (BOES) and nonqualified deferred compensation (NQDC) plans.
- Work with all advisors (Independent and Principal Financial Network) and provide point-of-sale support.
- Build effective working relationships with other Principal wholesalers to identify new advisor relationships.
- Develop and implement territory, account, product or market segment sales plans incorporating the standard methodologies of market segmentation, insurance company wholesaler leverage, activity and pipeline management and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, with 5 years of insurance wholesaling experience.
- Excellent knowledge of life and disability insurance products.
- Must have excellent organizational, problem-solving, analytical, presentation, and oral and written communication skills.
- Basic PC skills required and the ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and be detail oriented.
- Achievement orientation, relationship building, and good training and conceptual thinking skills are necessary, as well as being personable and assertive.
- Ability to work in excess of 40 hours is necessary. Travel required, including overnight stays. Requires the ability to be on-call for job responsibilities.
Licensing Requirements
- Life & Health license required
- FINRA Series 6 license (or equivalent) and FINRA Series 63 license (or equivalent) required

Salary Range Information
This position offers a competitive compensation package consisting of a base salary combined with incentive earnings. The base salary will provide financial stability, while the incentive component offers additional earning potential based on performance metrics.
Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)
$80000 - $80000 / year
Time Off Program
Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

Location
The territory of coverage would focus on Midwest and West. Preference would be for candidate to reside in the Central Time Zone, but we’re willing to consider the role being based in anywhere within the territory of coverage.
