We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer, to join our Private Market Data Engineering Team. In this role, you will provide data engineering and analysis expertise to maximize effectiveness across multiple technologies and services.

- Shape broad architecture; ship multiple large services, complex libraries or major pieces of infrastructure. Make an obvious positive impact on the company's technical trajectory.

- Service as subject matter expert and provide coaching and mentoring to team members. Delegate work to team members.
- Demonstrate influence across BUs. Seen as an informal leader or may have direct reports. Responsible for staff recruitment, performance assessment, training and career development. Set clear goal expectations for members of a team. Proactively nurture talent of staff in the area.

We are looking for someone with:
- Bachelor's degree plus 6 years related work experience or a Master's in related field plus 4 years related work experience.
- 3 years of professional experience working with AWS and Snowflake experience is required.
- 5 years of professional experience working with Python.
- Experience with a variety of data modeling techniques and data structures.
- Ability to optimize data for analytics and data science.
- Experience building/operating systems for data extraction, ingestion and processing of large data sets.
- Knowledge and direct experience using business intelligence reporting tools.
- Experience building data products incrementally and integrating and managing datasets from multiple sources.
- Must be able to effectively communicate strategies and designs to all levels of the company.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data engineers, fostering skill development and career growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project goals and ensure consistent data strategy and implementations.
Skills That Will Help You Stand Out:
- Solid leadership and presentation skils.
- Knowledge of financial services products, processes and business unit applications preferred.
- SQL experience is preferred.
Work Environments
This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek). You’ll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
