Job Summary
Principal Healthcare Solutions has teamed up with a Critical Access Hospital in search of an experienced and dedicated Human Resources Director to join their team. The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in HR management within a hospital, healthcare, or professional environment, and will be passionate about creating a positive workplace culture that aligns with thier mission of delivering exceptional care to the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Leadership: Create and execute HR strategies that align with the hospital’s overall goals and objectives.
- Talent Acquisition and Retention: Manage recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes to attract and retain high-caliber talent.
- Employee Relations: Act as a bridge between management and employees, addressing workplace concerns and fostering a positive work culture.
- Performance Management: Oversee and implement performance appraisal systems to support employee growth and development.
- Compensation and Benefits: Design and maintain competitive compensation and benefits programs.
- Training and Development: Identify staff training needs and offer opportunities for professional development.
- Compliance: Ensure HR policies and practices are in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- HR Metrics and Reporting: Deliver accurate and timely HR metrics and reports to aid in decision-making and fulfill mandatory reporting requirements.
- Payroll Management: Supervise payroll processing, ensuring adherence to all payroll-related requirements.
- Special Projects and Emergencies: Be available for after-hours work on special projects or urgent situations as required.
Qualifications:
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A Master's degree or HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are preferred.
- Experience: Significant experience in HR management, particularly within a hospital, healthcare, or professional environment. Experience managing at least 125 employees and working in a setting with a workforce of 150 or more.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities. In-depth knowledge of HR laws and regulations, including benefits, insurance, and labor laws. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Experience with workers' compensation laws and HR-related audits.
