As an ACB Program Manager you will be responsible for managing project timelines, creating detailed layout designs, coordinating prototype production, and streamlining project workflows. This role requires a combination of technical skills, including the ability to interpret architectural prints, along with project management capabilities. The specialist will collaborate closely with engineering, sales, and manufacturing teams to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality project deliverables.
Duties and responsibilities
- Customer Communication:
- Communicate professionally with customers to address changes and provide updates on project drawings, maintaining a high level of clarity and detail.
- Architectural Print Analysis:
- Review and interpret architectural prints for project requirements, particularly for ACB lighting projects and complex national program work.
- Project Drawing and Quote Preparation:
- Utilize specific architectural software platforms to create, modify, and refine drawings that meet project specifications, ensuring accurate quoting to customers.
- Develop drawings for specialized installations (e.g., ACB drawings for lighting packages) and assist in creating custom lighting systems where necessary.
- Project Traffic Management:
- Oversee project timelines and flowcharts from initiation to final sale, managing all tasks and milestones in an easily digestible, visual format.
- Maintain a macro view of all active projects to provide insight into ongoing activities.
- Ability to understand products forecasting and make suggestions, communicate and consistently update the data as required
- Prototype Coordination and Documentation:
- Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams to track prototype production, including both in-house and partner-manufactured prototypes.
Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret architectural prints and translate them into actionable project components.
- Strong project management skills, including timeline and flowchart management.
- Excellent attention to detail, especially in coordinating and documenting prototype evaluations.
- Ability to create clear, professional presentations and reports.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface confidently with clients and end-users.
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with project quoting and RFQ preparation.
- Basic knowledge of low voltage electrical systems.
- Technical aptitude to draw and navigate architectural software platforms.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
