POSITION SUMMARY : Support the Supply Chain Department. This position is for Summer 2025.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
The intern would work full time on projects that will influence the overall enhance effectiveness of the Supply Chain Department work at PBE. These projects would include (but not limited to) :
- Raw Material Safety Stock - Develop & document a sustainable process for reviewing and updating raw material safety stocks
- Supplier Scorecards - Manage supplier scorecard process working with the purchasing team
- Backorder Reporting - Take over backorder reporting and analyze results and proactively sharing updates
- Request for Quotations - Gain procurement experience through miscellaneous material and / or service bids (TBD)
- Purchase Requisitions - Review and convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders
- Warehouse & Distribution - Assist with inventory cycle counts and line audits
- Misc. Support - Assist with scheduling and buying processes, MRP data cleansing, forecast loading, etc.
Guidance will be provided by our Supply Chain team as well as other relevant PBE functions. This will provide good cross functional exposure to multiple departments.
