Principle Labs is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Venice, FL area. Must have previous specimen collection experience. Must have own transportation. Will drive to personal homes and long term care facilities for collections as per the schedule. Locations within 30 mile radius.
*This position has the opportunity to grow into an account manager role*
Responsibilities include:
- Obtaining urine specimens
- Collecting nasal swab specimens
- Labeling specimens and filling out patient information accurately.
- Preparing specimens for shipment to the lab by dropping off samples at fed ex at the end of day.
- Crossing Reports into Clients LIS system
Schedule- 4-5 days per week. at least 30 hrs.
The right candidate will have relevant experience and be dependable. Must be able to work professionally with office staff and patients. Must have strong computer skills and good time management skills. Reliable transportation is a must. You will be required to drive your own vehicle to and from facilities. Valid Drivers license is a must!
Candidate who can be an over communicator by text, email and phone during the shift is ideal!!!!
