What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile Phlebotomist - Cleveland/Livingston, TX position at Principle Health Systems?
Houston based Laboratory seeking qualified, customer service focused Mobile Phlebotomists to service Skilled nursing, Assisted Living and Home Health customers in the Cleveland/Livingston area. Service area includes Cleveland, Livingston, Jasper, Lufkin areas and points in between. This is a Daily route with drop location in the Porter/Humble areas.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience servicing this customer base with excellent communication and phlebotomy skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for drawing all patient samples within assigned routes and schedule.
- Communicate any current or potential customer issues within assigned territory with suggestions for resolution.
- Maintain detailed records of time worked and mileage.
- Maintain regular contact with assigned facilities and staff and address all service concerns.
- Assist with all correction and missing information requests.
- Provide coverage for STATs and routes as needed
- Be friendly, helpful and knowledgeable face of the laboratory.
REQUIREMENTS
- 1-2 years mobile phlebotomy experience, preferably within Nursing Home communities.
- Trained in venipuncture and thorough understanding of tube/draw requirements for tests ordered.
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills.
- Reliable means of personal transportation.
- Ability to work nights and weekends.
- Can-do work ethic, positive attitude and ability to independently resolve problems.
- Must have valid driver's license and active auto insurance.
