Mobile Phlebotomist Opportunity:
Principle Health Systems is hiring a Mobile Phlebotomist (Part-time) to support our rapidly growing, Texas-based, clinical laboratory company Principle Laboratory within the San Antonio, Texas territory. This position drives around servicing patients at nursing facilities and patient homes. Specimens are dropped off at our lab in San Antonio, Texas (78216).
Previous experience working as a mobile phlebotomist, drawing blood from patients of all ages is highly preferred! All applicants must be comfortable with high-volume blood draws and frequent travel within San Antonio and surrounding areas.
Active Texas driver's license, auto insurance ,and personal vehicle are required to be considered for this role.

- Part-time, permanent position
- Pay: $20.00/hour (.47/mileage reimbursement) and additional shift differential for weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday $2/hr.)
- Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 10AM-6PM
- The purpose of this role is to provide additional operational support/coverage for our mobile phlebotomy assisted living/home health and skilled nursing facility (SNF STAT) route teams in/around San Antonio, Texas
- Location: Role travels daily following assigned route/schedule within the assigned territory area; specimen drop off at the laboratory or airport (San Antonio, Texas 78216)
Mobile Phlebotomist Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for drawing all patient samples within assigned routes and schedules
- Communicate any current or potential customer issues within an assigned territory with suggestions for resolution
- Maintain detailed records of time worked and mileage
- Maintain regular contact with assigned facilities and staff and address all service concerns
- Assist with all correction and missing information requests from Insurance and Billing teams
- Provide coverage for sample collection duties when needed
- Be a friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable face of the company's laboratory services
- Other job-related duties as assigned by manager
Mobile Phlebotomist Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- 2 years of mobile phlebotomy experience (we are open to candidates with less experience as well)
- Phlebotomist License/Certification and completion of Phlebotomy Program is preferred
- Trained in venipuncture and thorough understanding of tube/draw requirements for tests ordered
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
- Reliable means of personal transportation
- Can-do work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to independently resolve problems
