Mobile Phlebotomist Opportunity:
Principle Health Systems is hiring a Mobile Phlebotomist to support their customer within Killeen and surrounding areas . This position drives around servicing patients at their different locations (skilled nursing homes) and patient homes. Previous experience working as a mobile phlebotomist, drawing blood from patients of all ages is highly preferred! All applicants must be comfortable with high volume blood draws and frequent travel within the Houston and surrounding areas. Active Texas Driver's License and personal vehicle for use is required for this role.

- Pay: $19.00-20.00/hour (.47/mileage reimbursement)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday (4AM-12PM)
- Location: Role travels daily following assigned routes/schedules within the Killeen and surrounding areas ; specimen drop off at FedEx
Mobile Phlebotomist Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for drawing all patient samples within assigned routes and schedules
- Communicate any current or potential customer issues within an assigned territory with suggestions for resolution
- Maintain detailed records of time worked and mileage
- Maintain regular contact with assigned facilities and staff and address all service concerns
- Assist with all correction and missing information requests from Insurance and Billing teams
- Provide coverage for sample collection duties when needed
- Be a friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable face of the company's laboratory services
- Other job-related duties as assigned by manager
Mobile Phlebotomist Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- 2 years of mobile phlebotomy experience, preferably within the Geriatric or SNF fields (we are open to candidates with less experience as well)
- Phlebotomist License/Certification and completion of Phlebotomy Program is preferred
- Trained in venipuncture and thorough understanding of tube/draw requirements for tests ordered
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
- Reliable means of personal transportation
- Can-do work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to independently resolve problems
Mobile Phlebotomist Physical Requirements:
- The employee must be able to stand and/or walk at least five hours per day.
