Mobile Phlebotomist Opportunity:
Principle Health Systems is hiring a Mobile Phlebotomist (Part-time) to support our rapidly growing, Texas-based, clinical laboratory company Principle Laboratory covering the Abilene, Texas territory. This position drives around servicing patients at nursing facilities and patient homes.
Previous experience working as a mobile phlebotomist, drawing blood from patients of all ages is highly preferred! All applicants must be comfortable with high-volume blood draws and frequent travel within Abilene and surrounding areas.
Active Texas driver's license, auto insurance ,and personal vehicle for use are required for this role.

- Part-time, permanent position (potential for more hours in the future)
- Pay: $18.00-20.00/hour (.47/mileage reimbursement) and additional shift differential for overnight shifts (8pm-6am hours)
- Schedule: Early Morning Shift (Typically 3am-6am start time) Monday-Friday SNF Route covering the Abilene territory
- Location: Role travels daily following assigned stops/schedule within the assigned territory area; specimen drop off at the laboratory/airport
Mobile Phlebotomist Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for drawing all patient samples within assigned routes and schedules
- Communicate any current or potential customer issues within an assigned territory with suggestions for resolution
- Maintain detailed records of time worked and mileage
- Maintain regular contact with assigned facilities and staff and address all service concerns
- Assist with all correction and missing information requests from the Insurance and Billing teams
- Provide coverage for sample collection duties when needed
- Be a friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable face of the company's laboratory services
- Other job-related duties as assigned by manager
Mobile Phlebotomist Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- 2 years of mobile phlebotomy or phlebotomy experience within a high-volume/busy medical setting
- Phlebotomist License/Certification and completion of a Phlebotomy Program are preferred
- Trained in venipuncture and thorough understanding of tube/draw requirements for tests ordered
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
- Reliable means of personal transportation
- Can-do work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to independently resolve problems
Mobile Phlebotomist Physical Requirements:
