What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile Phlebotomy Manager position at Principle Health Systems?
Mobile Phlebotomy Manager Essential Job Functions:
- Manage team of mobile phlebotomists
- Responsible for submitting time and mileage for phlebotomy team
- Responsible for scheduling and route creation for phlebotomy team
- Provide training and ongoing support for phlebotomists
- Maintain regular contact with assigned facilities and staff and address all service concerns
- Assist with all correction and missing information requests from Insurance and Billing teams
- Provide coverage for sample collection duties when needed
- Be a friendly, helpful and knowledgeable face of PHS laboratory services
- Other job-related duties as assigned by manager
Mobile Phlebotomy Manager Knowledge, Skills , Abilities:
- 3 years of mobile phlebotomy experience and past experience managing team of phlebotomists
- Thorough understanding of Nursing Home and LTAC operations and logistics of maintaining smooth phlebotomy program
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
- Can-do work ethic, positive attitude and ability to independently resolve problems
Manages both Oklahoma City and Tulsa phlebotomy teams
Schedule flexibility required
Management is expected to cover staff as needed (holidays, weekends, night shift etc.)
