JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a detail-oriented Risk Manager Support Specialist, (Registered Nurse, RN) to conduct on-site visits in our North Carolina skilled nursing facilities. This position will support the work of the AVP of Risk Managment with reviewing occurrence investigations. Job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Verify that all required documents, forms and supporting material are included in the investigation file.
- Ensure that all investigation documetns are properly labled, organized and stored in the designated folders for easy access.
- Ensure that all required interviews related to an occurance have been conducted and documented in detail; initiating additonal interviews as needed.
- Verify that all corrective and preventative actions are documented, issueses are appropriately addressed adn validated.
- Confirm that investigation summary is clear, consise adn alighs with detailed findings at the conclusion of an investigation.
- Conduct chart audits to identify potential risks to implement effective risk mitigation strategies.

REQUIREMENTS
- Valid RN, Registered Nurse license, active in the State of NC
- Successful criminal background check
- Subject to pre-employment drug testing
- Long-term care facility experience preferred
- Risk Managment expereience, preferred
