Who We Need
Looking for an electrical apprentice to join our team with 5 years of construction experience. Willing to learn all parts of the trade and grow with our company.
Responsibilities/Duties/Skills
- Showing up on time on a consistent basis
- Good working attitude and a good team player
- Strong work ethic
- Clean work area, equipment, and trucks
- Able to keep track of material
- Communication with fellow team members and building superintendents
- Gear, Panel, Breaker install
- Underground and overhead piping
- Knowledge of the National Electric Code
- Must be able to install, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.
- Must be able to follow instructions and have a leadership mindset.
- Must be flexible & willing to work overtime or work various shifts as required.
- Must be proficient in running 3/4" to 4" PVC, EMT, Rigid and flexible conduit with 90' bends, offset, kicks and saddles.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blue prints and drawings.
- Must be able to measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit, using such tools as band saw, pipe threaders and conduit benders in a safe manner.
- Must be able to install disconnects, panel boards, transformers up to 600 Volts.
- Job includes heavy lifting, pushing or pulling of material
Qualifications
- 4-5 years' of Electrical experience
- Must have dependable Transportation.
- Valid driver’s license
- Basic hand tools
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to lift and control heavy tools
- Ability to work in 100 degree weather
- Composite toe boots.
- Jeans( No shorts allowed)
- Safety Glasses ( If prescription glasses required must have side shields)
- Hard Hat always required on site.
- Must be eligible to work in the US.
- Must be able to get along with others and work as a team.
- Need to pass a background check and Drug Test.
- High School diploma or equivalent
