The Field Service Technician (FST) will be responsible for becoming the company expert on the installation, use, and maintenance of our autonomous robots. The FST will work with our Sales Managers and Customer Service Specialists to ensure the successful deployment and repair of our robotic solutions. The FST will work with customers to understand their needs and configure the robots to meet these needs best. You will be the front line for the operational side of the business, and be expected to build positive customer relationships based on excellent service.

Employee Duties & Responsibilities:
- Installs, programs, maintains, and repairs robots and related equipment, like programmable controllers, robot controllers, and components, applying knowledge of electronics, electrical circuits, mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and programming, using power tools, hand tools, and testing instruments following manuals, schematic diagrams, and blueprints.
- Reviews work orders and related manuals, blueprints, and schematic diagrams to define tasks to be performed tools, equipment, and parts needed for installation of repair assignment.
- Program robot to perform specific tasks, applying knowledge of programming language, using a computer or control panel on the robot.
- Work with customers to learn their specific needs for robots, and implement solutions for those needs.
- Train customers on the use of robots, troubleshooting, and other related tasks.
- Maintenance of company office, warehouse, vehicle, and tools.
- Represent the company and communicate with customers in a professional manner.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- At least three (3) years of field repair and installation work, preferably in an equipment or technology-related industry
- Great troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure
- Ability and desire to learn new technologies and hardware quickly and thoroughly
- Availability on weekends for occasional on-call support
- Great customer service skills
- Have a current, valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Occasional overnight travel to remote customer sites (up to 10-20%)
- Significant local travel throughout the St. Louis Metro Area (80-90%)
- Ability to lift 80 lbs.
- Valid Driver’s License

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
