Customer Account Representative:

Major Duties:

  • Process and maintain all purchase orders to ensure accuracy and align demand appropriate for order fulfillment and supply chain execution.
  • Meet the customer account goals by responding to inquiries and providing accurate information to the management and direct customers.
  • Prepare a variety of reports in managing direct accounts, including retrieving and analyzing data from SAP or other systems, through identifying problems and/or trends, and presenting data in an effective manner through summaries, graphs, or written reports.
  • Maintains positive relations with external and internal (Sales, Distribution, Accounting, Demand Management, Master Data, and CAM, Etc.) stakeholders/customers and develop account strategies necessary to gather information as needed.
  • Independently research/resolve, manage daily workload, maintain and improve our service to ensure timeliness and execution of customer expectations.
  • Contribute to Generation of Sales by maintaining existing or building new customer relationships.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, resolve any issues or complaints and provide updates on new products or services.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the customer’s objectives and goals through proactive monitoring and individual customer reporting.

Knowledge, Experience and Education:

  • High School Diploma with 2-4 years of professional office work experience required. Bachelor's degree in business related field is preferred.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite required; demonstrated proficiency to use a variety of computer software, such as SAP, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Sharepoint.
  • Ability to become extremely proficient and knowledgeable with individual customer system operation (i.e. Retail Link, Supplier Net, Nova).
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Must possess strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Proofreading skills are essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are required, to include oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to support and organize data exchange for two or more inter-company departments.
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to handle changing priorities with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a team atmosphere and provide leadership to peers.
  • Ability to work independently on multiple concurrent projects is necessary.
