Summary:
As a Service Technician, you will perform on-site 3D laser scanning, compiling, registering, and reporting of the collected data to generate 3D Recap models. This position involves regular travel to our clients’ locations to perform on-site scanning services`, including loading the equipment for transportation, set-up of equipment at sites, and demobilizing equipment when scanning is complete. Service Technicians will work to clean and register scan data using Cyclone software, as well as support the team in various other applications to ensure a cross functional supportive office environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to client locations to perform on-site scanning services.
- Set up, operate, and transport scanning equipment.
- Process and clean HD scan data using Cyclone software.
- Assist in survey sales order preparation and other department tasks.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent education/work experience.
- Basic surveying instrument operation experience required. Experience with Leica Laser Scanning equipment preferred.
- Basic knowledge of laser scanning data processing; experience with Leica Cyclone preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Frequent local travel required, with occasional overnight stays.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
- Comfortable working in public spaces and interacting professionally with clients and the sales team.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Extended time working in the field, carrying a scanner and tripod.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
