The Stock Manager is responsible for overseeing inventory management, stock levels, and logistics across multiple brands within Printemps.
This role ensures optimal stock management, inventory accuracy, and efficient back of the house operations while adhering to company policies and brand-specific requirements.
The role demands excellent organization, multitasking, and communication skills to coordinate with various teams and ensure smooth stock flow.
Key Responsibilities :
Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate stock levels for multiple brands, ensuring sufficient inventory to meet sales demands without overstocking.
- Perform regular stock audits and cycle counts.
- Analyze stock movement trends to minimize shrinkage and dead stock.
Stock Operations:
- Oversee the receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods across multiple departments.
- Ensure stock is properly labeled, organized, and stored according to brand guidelines.
- Coordinate stock transfers as needed.
Reporting & Analytics:
- Generate and analyze inventory reports for multiple brands to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with sales teams to forecast inventory needs.
Team Management:
- Lead and train stockroom staff on inventory best practices and systems.
- Schedule and oversee staff for stock handling, counting, and organization.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales team, store managers, and brand representatives to ensure stock availability and alignment with sales strategies.
- Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to address stock discrepancies or delays.
Compliance & Procedures:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and brand standards.
- Develop and implement procedures to streamline stock operations and reduce inefficiencies.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree
- Experience: 3-5 years in stock management, warehouse operations, or inventory control, preferably in a multi-brand retail environment.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar software).
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
