Install Manager:

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and Communicate: Seamlessly collaborate with estimating, sales, project managers, production, install team, and management to meet project deadlines.
- Estimating: Stay ahead of upcoming projects.
- Sales: Manage job expectations proactively.
- Project Managers: Oversee job expectations and manage external resources.
- Production: Ensure timely completion of products.
- Install Team: Schedule and ensure personnel understanding.

Essential Duties:
- Manage Installation Calendar
- Ensure all job documentation is attached (facility map, parking, elevations, etc.).
- Document estimated install times and note errors for correction.
- Reconcile orders with the Outlook install schedule.
- Confirm order readiness for upcoming installs.
Prepare Graphics/Install Materials:
- Ensure materials are completed and staged for pick-up.
- Coordinate with shipping for proper packaging to maintain quality.
Customer Coordination:
- Schedule install times and ensure customer readiness.
- Verify and track charges to jobs.
- Confirm local travel details and charges.
Team Coordination:
- Work with the Install Field Manager and Project Coordinator to schedule equipment and assign staff.
- Assist with install estimating.
- Coordinate outsourced installs, building a database of qualified vendors.
- Negotiate costs and maintain COI documents for outsourced installers.
- Book travel and transportation for out-of-town installations.
Participate in Planning Meetings:
- Engage in job planning and large project scheduling.
- Conduct site surveys and ensure all costs are captured and charged.
- Ensure the team has all necessary tools and maintain proper inventory.
Continuous Improvement:
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Be open to new ideas and implement constant improvement processes.
- Train your backup to ensure seamless operations.
