Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Floor Boy / Feeder (2nd Shift) AKA Printing Press Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within our facility. This position requires a proactive individual who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while ensuring that all areas are kept tidy and presentable.
2nd Shift: 2:30pm to 11pm with possible OT required if needed
Responsibilities
- Printing background preferred
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming as needed.
- Ensure that all common areas are organized and free of clutter.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down equipment or furniture for events or daily operations.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of cleanliness.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a custodial or maintenance role is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina, with the ability to lift moderate weights and perform manual tasks throughout the shift.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills are essential for success in this role.
