Front Desk Associate
We are looking for a customer-oriented front desk person.
As a small, locally owned printing company, we depend on this position to make our customer's interaction by phone or in person a pleasant experience.
In our world of AI, online ordering, and impersonal communication, we have the advantage of personal service to produce client specific creations. This position is the first in line to greet clients and answer incoming calls. They will help clients and potential clients with product selection, the production process, pricing, and will also receive payments from customers. Good communication skills (especially active listening) are imperative for this portion of the job.
They also get help with the production of the printed products that we produce and might even get to do some light design work.
Experience is a plus, but we will train the right individual.
The job is from 8-5 Monday - Friday.
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming calls
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
- Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
- Take the extra mile to engage customers
Skills
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- High school degree
