We are currently seeking Entry Level Machinists who are looking to start a rewarding career while learning a trade. You will learn to operate the various machines and tools we use to manufacture our wide variety of parts, all while helping drive our team’s production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the manufacturing team across various levels of production.
- Operate machines and tools to meet production demands.
- Follow drawing details and specifications to ensure product accuracy.
- Assist in running automated machinery, including loading bar stock, refilling fluids, and removing chips.
- Follow all Prion procedures and keep the work area clean and organized.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Basic machining experience a plus.
- Metal cutting experience a plus.
- Mechanically inclined skillset.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and high-quality output.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot assembly issues.
- Excellent time management and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as necessary.
- Ability to work while standing for up to 8 hours per day.
Job Details:
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Pay Range: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
- Schedule: Day Shift (1st shift), Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
- Location: Must be able to reliably commute to Oakdale, PA 15071 (in-person)
