Job Summary
Priority 1 Janitorial Services is a growing commercial janitorial services company committed to providing exceptional service and operational excellence. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Payroll and Billing Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis and help manage our payroll and invoicing processes.
Responsibilities
- Semi-monthly payroll for hourly and salaried employees
- Ensure accurate timekeeping records, resolve discrepancies, and maintain payroll data
- Prepare and send accurate client invoices on a regular billing schedule
- Maintain confidential employee and financial records
- Coordinate with management to verify billable hours and project details
- Assist with end-of-month reconciliation and reporting
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
Experience
- Proven experience in payroll processing and billing/accounting
- Familiarity with payroll systems, Quick Books and ADP
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic accounting tools
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
