General Job Function
The Patient Care Representative must be dedicated to supporting the mission of Priority Care Pediatrics, LLC: Priority Care Pediatrics provides essential and compassionate healthcare to our community. Also, dedicated to making sure the office is a model for achieving primary care excellence so that care is received in the right place, and in the manner that best suits a patient's needs.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Answer phone calls utilizing proper phone etiquette to address patient inquiries regarding appointments, services, insurance questions, etc.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, managing the provider schedules efficiently.
- Collect and verify required patient information at the time of scheduling, including demographics, insurance information, required documents, etc.
- Assist patients with completing required forms and documentation during the intake process.
- Handle patient records with confidentiality and compliance to HIPAA regulations.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and employees to facilitate patient care.
- Address and resolve patient concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a clean and organized front office environment.
- Support billing and insurance process as assigned (i.e. eligibility verifications, payment collections, etc.).
- Provide patients with clinic documents and resources as directed.
- Navigates multiple systems/software applications with efficiency.

- Perform administrative duties such as copying, faxing, scanning, medical records requests, etc.
- Sell and stock over-the-counter medications through QuickStop at each location.
- Conduct all interactions with patients and employees with professionalism and courtesy.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a healthcare, medical clinic setting, or customer service role preferred.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on professionalism and empathy.
- Basic Computer skills.
- Proficient in using office software and electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred.
- Flexible schedule.
- Able to work at any location.
- Reliable transportation.
- Able to perform all duties of the position as assigned.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage a fast-paced environment.
- Employees are required to comply with Priority Care Pediatrics Employee Immunization Policy.
- Employees are required to maintain CPR/ BLS. Priority Care Pediatrics will assist employees in obtaining their certifications upon hire if needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 per week
