General Job Function:
Nurses must be dedicated to supporting the mission of Priority Care Pediatrics, LLC: Priority Care Pediatrics provides essential and compassionate healthcare to our community.
The nursing staff is responsible for handling a diverse range of situations and responsibilities. Coordinate patient care through collaboration with the primary physician, and other members of the nursing team.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide care to patients at a very personal level and have direct contact with patients.
- Collect a patient's health information; take vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and weight.
- Give oral medications and injections to patients.
- Proper charting, documentation, and maintenance of patients medical records.
- Messaging and patient education.
- Constantly interact with other people and may have to handle several responsibilities at once.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- CMA/MA/EMT--Pediatric experience preferred. Employment history with similar clinic setting(s) preferred. At least 1 year of patient care experience required.
- LPN/RN--New Graduates welcome, but prefer at least 1 year of patient care experience. Pediatric experience preferred. Employment history with similar clinic setting(s) preferred.
- Employees are required to comply with Priority Care Pediatrics Employee Immunization Policy.
Pay is based on license/certification and experience.
