Are you passionate about helping others? Priority Group Services, a leading home care provider in New Jersey, is seeking dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality care to individuals in their homes. In this role, you'll help improve patients' quality of life by offering essential support and companionship in a comfortable, familiar setting.
Your Role & Responsibilities :
Assess patients' physical abilities, medical histories, and conditions to create individualized treatment plans.
Implement hands-on therapy and exercises to improve patient function, strength, coordination, and cognitive abilities.
Collaborate with patients, families, and medical teams to gather information and develop treatment plans.
Design individualized occupational therapy programs to help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities. Educate patients and their families on exercises, adaptive techniques, and strategies to enhance daily functioning. Regularly track patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Maintain detailed records of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress reports for legal, insurance, and healthcare purposes.
What Were Looking For :
Valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of New Jersey
Strong patient assessment or evaluation skill
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans
Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
