What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2 Color Jet Press Operator - 2nd shift position at Priority Envelope?
Position Summary:
The 2 Color Halm Jet Press Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting printing press equipment to job specifications in an accurate, timely, and safe manner.

- Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot printing presses according to safety, quality, and production guidelines.
- Read instructions from job tickets and set up presses based on instructions
- Match and maintain colors to samples and/or PMS standards
- Perform advanced level of preventative, emergency, and scheduled maintenance and repairs to the equipment as needed
- Proofreading products to ensure copy is correct
- Periodically washing cylinders and blankets with solvent
- Maintain production records and equipment logs accurately and timely
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One to three years' printing or manufacturing experience.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Accurate skills in math and ruling; attention to precision and detail.
Salary : $18 - $25
