What are the responsibilities and job description for the Die Cutter -3rd Shift position at Priority Envelope?
Position Summary:
The Cutter Operator is responsible for programming/setting-up, operating, troubleshooting and maintaining
automated cutting equipment that supplies paper stock to envelope converting department in an accurate, timely
and safe manner.
This will be on 3rd shift (10 pm - 6 am) but training on 1st shift (6 am to 2 pm)

• Read, comprehend and follow all specifications on the job ticket
• Program layout specifications and perform set ups on cutter and loader equipment
• Collaborate with scheduling and sales departments to ensure optimal production flow
• Record and maintain data on production reports, job tickets and computer systems
• Perform some maintenance and repairs of equipment as needed
• Operate forklift and maintain updated certification
Education and Experience:
• Requires one to three years of die cutting experience.
• Strong skills in math and ruling; attention to precision and detail and a desire to achieve customer
satisfaction
• Demonstrated openness to process improvement and change
• Good attendance and punctuality and willingness to work overtime as needed
Salary : $18 - $22
