What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist position at Priority Groups?
Heres what youll do :
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients physical conditions and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and developmental abilities.
Implement a variety of therapeutic exercises and techniques focused on enhancing mobility strength coordination and functional independence.
Partner with patients and their families to educate them on exercises and techniques that can be continued at home promoting selfcare and maximizing progress.
Continuously monitor patients progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
Collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team including physicians nurses occupational therapists and support staff to deliver holistic and patientcentered care.
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient evaluations progress notes and treatment results to track progress and ensure continuity of care.

The Ideal Candidate :
Holds a valid NJ state license or certification as a Physical Therapist.
Possesses a Bachelors or Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Demonstrates prior experience working in a home or nursing facility setting preferably with a focus on developmental disabilities.
Exhibits excellent interpersonal and communication skills fostering positive relationships with patients families and healthcare professionals.
Showcases strong clinical skills including the ability to assess patient needs and develop evidencebased treatment plans.
Familiarity with physical therapy approaches for individuals with developmental disabilities is highly valued (a plus!).
