Description
The primary purpose of the Respiratory Therapist position is to provide specialty respiratory services for the assessment, treatment and monitoring of residents with deficiencies or abnormalities of pulmonary function. Consulting and auditing of each facilities respiratory therapy services and provide in depth training and competencies.
Education:
· Must be a licensed Respiratory Therapist
Experience:
· Must have, as a minimum, two (2) years experience in respiratory services as a respiratory therapist.
· Must be oriented to health care practices and procedures.

Qualifications
Specific Requirements:
· Must be duly licensed in accordance with laws of this state.
· Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
· Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of team work and team concept.
· Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
· Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
