Provided to Participants: $16.00 Student Wage, Full-time Benefits, Tuition, Books, Uniforms, one sitting for National Registry Exam
Expected from Participants: Full engagement with attendance to all classes, labs, and clinical rotations; prompt testing for License upon course completion; commitment to work for Guardian Ambulance in full-time position for at least 2 years following state licensure.
Classroom: Florence-Darlington Tech
Format: Live Instructor led Classes/Labs; Clinical rotations on county units.
Schedule: Total class length is 12 weeks
- Monday - Thursday 0900-1500 hours with one-hour unpaid lunch break each day. (40 hours per week-classroom day/times may vary)
- 10 patients on county ambulances
- Beginning Date: June 2, 2025
- End Date: August 22, 2025
Qualifications
Admission Requirements: Successful completion of placement test, background check (including MVR) and drug screen; valid Driver’s License; High-school Diploma or GED, must be 18 years of age or older (may be turning 18 within 90 days of class start date).
