Overview:
Priority Patient Transport EMTs (Emergency Medical Technicians) are dedicated to providing exceptional medical care and transport services. As an EMT at Priority Patient Transport, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to patients in need. This position will be scheduled for 24 hours per week in our Harrisonburg office from 7p-7a on Saturday and Sunday nights. A $1000 Sign-On Bonus is offered. Opportunities for additional hours exist if desired.
Responsibilities:
- Provide medical care to patients in both emergency and non-emergency situations.
- Conduct physical exams, assess patients' conditions accurately, follow established treatment protocols or other provider orders, and document all findings and care provided.
- Operate in a safe, and efficient manner as a member of the patient's healthcare team.
- Maintain professionalism and excellent bedside manner when interacting with patients, other medical staff, and the public.
Qualifications:
- Valid EMT certification.
-EVOC certification with a clean driving record.
-Ability to pass required background checks and drug testing.
- Strong drive and dedication to delivering top-notch patient care.
- Experience working in an EMS or medical transport environment is preferred.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and make quick, informed decisions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
