As a Maintenance Technician at Priority Plastics, you will be an essential part of our operations team, ensuring the optimal performance of our manufacturing equipment. This role is critical to maintaining our commitment to quality and efficiency in delivering top-notch packaging solutions.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues promptly.
- Utilize logic controllers to monitor and optimize equipment performance.
- Maintain high voltage systems safely and effectively.
- Document maintenance activities using CMMS for tracking purposes.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with other technicians to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance or a similar role.
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge relevant to manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and high voltage systems is essential.
- Experience with CMMS software for maintenance management is a plus.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively.
- Welding skills are beneficial but not mandatory.
- Certification as an industrial electrician is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
