What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laboratory Supervisor position at Priority Search?
We are working on an exciting opportunity to join this Boston area commercial Biotech company. Our client uses its proprietary technology platform to support a broad pipeline of products, with an initial focus on pancreatic insufficiency which results in malabsorption common in digestive cancers, and other serious diseases.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain an efficient process for managing inventory of supplies, chemicals and equipment
- Order supplies, ensure equipment and instruments are calibrated and ready for use at all times.
- Lead the laboratory in adherence to safety procedures and best practices and conduct annual safety training,
- Coordinate testing at external laboratories by requesting quotes, preparing samples and arranging for shipment of materials.
- Prepare solutions, reagents, test solution prep and clean up as needed.
