We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Facility/Building Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing general building maintenance tasks and janitorial duties to ensure our facility remains clean, safe, and operational. This role requires basic knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and janitorial services, but does not involve significant HVAC or electrical work.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general building repairs (doors, windows, locks, etc.)
- Clean and maintain common areas, restrooms, and offices (sweeping, mopping, trash removal)
- Conduct routine facility inspections and report issues
- Handle basic plumbing tasks (unclog drains, fix leaks)
- Maintain exterior areas (sweeping walkways, removing debris)
- Ensure safety compliance and manage maintenance supplies
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in building maintenance or janitorial services preferred
- Basic knowledge of building systems and maintenance tasks
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
