We are seeking experienced Pipe Fitter Welders. The ideal candidate will be proficient in TIG and Fluxcore welding techniques, specifically on large diameter pipes. As a Pipe Fitter Welder, you will be responsible for fitting and welding various types of piping systems used in oil and gas infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout requirements.
- Measure, cut, and fit pipes to specifications using hand tools, power tools, or machines.
- Weld pipes together using TIG and Fluxcore welding methods, ensuring welds meet industry standards for strength and quality.
- Conduct inspections and tests on completed welds to ensure they meet project specifications and code requirements.
- Perform repairs or modifications to piping systems as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter Welder in the oil and gas industry.
- Proficiency in TIG and Fluxcore welding techniques, particularly on large diameter pipes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of welding symbols and codes (API1104, ASME, AWS).
