A Harrisburg, IL agency is seeking a Maintenance Technician. Typical schedule is Monday - Friday 8 : 00am to 4 : 00pm but could vary based on the nature of the position (ex : items breaking down on the weekend and after hours, salting for possible snow). $19 / hr to $22 / hr depending on experience.
Job duties include but are not limited to :
- Performing routine and preventative maintenance (ex : filers, fans, freon), cleaning (ceiling fans), and repairing residential homes, administrative buildings, program buildings, vehicles, and equipment
- Painting, carpentry, minor electrical, and other recognized crafts
- Ensure individual's rooms are kept in good repair and free of environmental hazards, free of peeling paint, privacy and shower curtains in good repair, commodes, sinks, faucets working, water temps at proper levels, etc.
- Assist with the delivery of supplies to programs and assist programs with other duties as assigned
- May be asked to transport
- Schedule and take vehicles for oil change, tire rotations, and other repairs of maintenance.
- Organize and stock supply room
- Maintain frequent communication with required personnel about needed maintenance issues
- Other duties as assigned
Salary : $19 - $22
