Job Summary :
The Supervisor of Operations primary responsibility is to oversee the Processing and Customer Care departments within the ACH Division. They are responsible for assisting Customer Care with customer issues that are beyond the normal level of representative trouble shooting.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain and take ownership of all ACH Operations processes and procedures.
- Troubleshoot file errors and system issues that are escalated from Customer Care reps and processors.
- Be able to correct errors in customer files.
- Coordinate IT resources for system issues related to the ACH environments including but not limited to the UI, VDI, SFTP, API, etc.
- Approve IT maintenance windows and system updates.
- Assist other departments with troubleshooting ACH issues.
- Cover the responsibilities / shifts for processors when they take PTO.
- Be on call for system issues after hours. Including both ACH employees as well as IT / Help Desk inquiries.
- Reflect a positive attitude and open mind in company meetings and training sessions.
- Assist ACH Operations as well as other department heads with data research within the ACH database.
- Manage the vendor relationships regarding system integrations or code updates.
- Establish technical relationships with new sponsor banks or external ACH file receiving points. This includes establishing the SFTP connection and working with IT to ensure connectivity, exchanging credentials, testing file processing process, training ACH processors on the new process.
Minimum Requirements :
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS :
Manage 2 departments with multiple employees.
Advanced computer knowledge in a windows environment.
Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
Ability to understand the importance of financial data processing.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to effectively present information one-on-one and in small group situations, with other employees.
Ability to deal with problems involving varying situations.
Ability to multi-task in a high speed environment.
Initiative - asks for and offers help when needed.
Ability to anticipate needs of the position.
Additional languages are a plus.
