Job Summary :
As a Part-time Warehouse Associate you will support the daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, returns processing, and other related tasks.This individual will work directly with the Warehouse Lead to fulfill all Shipping & Receiving needs for our customer base. Schedule will be 11AM-4PM or 1030AM-430PM.
Responsibilities :
- Receive incoming shipments, check for accuracy, and record items in inventory systems.
- Inspect goods for damages or defects and report discrepancies to supervisors.
- Unload goods from delivery trucks safely using appropriate equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks).
- Organize and store goods in designated locations, ensuring proper labeling and placement.
- Perform regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining accurate records.
- Notify supervisors of low stock levels or inventory shortages.
- Pick items from shelves according to customer orders or shipping requirements.
- Pack goods securely to prevent damage during transit and prepare them for shipping.
- Generate and attach shipping labels and other required documentation.
- Load outgoing shipments onto delivery vehicles, ensuring accurate and complete orders.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Dispose of packaging materials and waste according to company policies.
