Priority is seeking an HR Coordinator who will learn how our HR Team provides guidance and support to our rapidly growing Team. The HR Coordinator will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of human resources.
Duties may include, but not be limited to:

Assists in payroll functions on a weekly basis.

Administers performance reviews.

Collects and reviews various documents to ensure accuracy and completion. Follows up to obtain any missing documentation.

Maintains employee information within HRIS system and electronic employee files.

Answers employee inquiries on various human resources topics; including payroll, policies, benefits, and the HRIS system.

Monitors HR text line and inbox, delegating and escalating inquiries to HR Team Members as necessary.

Involvement with Driver compliance, including scheduling drug and alcohol tests, tracking licenses and medical cards, and running reports.

Completes employment verifications.

Involvement in recruitment/selection process including posting ads, completing phone screens, arranging interviews, and running pre-employment checks.

Performs employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including hosting in-person orientation classes.

Assists with Unemployment Insurance Agency Claims.

Ad doc projects, audits, and administrative tasks.

Continuously analyzes work processes and makes suggestions for improvement.

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
The successful candidate profile includes:

Degree in Human Resources or related field.

1 year of experience in a Human Resources role or related position is preferred.

Ability to quickly adapt to changes.

Strong technical, organizational, and prioritization skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Outlook is preferred.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Location & Travel
The HR Coordinator's home base will be at the company’s headquarters in Clinton Township, MI and will require minimal travel.
