The Opportunity
In your role as Residential Relations Specialist, you will drive and maintain revenue growth while also nurturing customer relationships within SE Michigan and throughout. This will be performed through cold-calls and sales in the field, as well as meeting with current customers to address their needs. This candidate should be able to support existing clients and be willing to travel throughout or SE Michigan service areas. A monthly vehicle allowance is provided.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining customer relationships
- Growing our existing residential customer database through cold calls, homeowner associations and community meetings, trade shows and networking events
- Generates revenue growth by upselling and offering ancillary services
- Works closely with Priority’s Logistic Driver Coordinator Team who is responsible for service delivery
- Collaborates with the billing team on invoice accuracy
- Facilitates the negotiation of contracts
- Resolves customer issues and complaints through effective problem solving
- Creates and conducts presentations to new & existing customers
Works jointly with our sustainability team to foster environmental
The successful candidate profile includes:
- Bachelor’s Degree in public relations, marketing, sales, management, or related field preferred
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Ability to meet sales goals
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Prior waste experience is a plus, but not required
- Willingness to travel to clients and develop book of business
