Job Purpose
In your role as a Sales Leader will manage, mentor, and coach a team of sales reps to meet and exceed targets. Youll oversee sales strategy, team performance, and ensure customer satisfaction, while managing day-to-day sales operations and processes.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Lead, motivate, and develop the inside sales team to achieve sales targets
- Lead, motivate, and develop the outside sales team as needed
- Develop and execute sales strategies for lead generation, pipeline management, and closing deals
- Negotiate contracts, resolve escalated customer issues, and manage customer complaints
- Collaborate with accounting to manage account receivables, discounts, refunds, and service-related issues
- Recruit, hire, and train new sales reps, ensuring successful onboarding and continuous development
- Travel to new and existing markets to drive sales initiatives
- Implement processes to track sales KPIs and identify opportunities for growth
- Leverage technology to streamline sales processes and improve team efficiency
- Collaborate with the Operations team to meet service standards
- Meet or exceed annual sales goals within budget across all business lines
The successful candidate profile includes:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
- 3 years of sales experience, including 1-2 years minimum in a leadership role
- Proven success in inside sales, with experience in contract negotiation and team management
- Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with CRM tools
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities
