Position Summary :

At PriorityWorkforce, We are looking for a Claims Assistant with 1 years of claims support experience to join our team. Using a hands-on approach, the Claims Assistant is responsible for handling initial intakes, investigations, and general administrative and clerical work involving the claim to obtain all the necessary information to process claims and provide customer service and support to our Three Cs Customers, Contingent employees, and Coworkers. We are looking for Leaders who will drive our company forward.

Role and Responsibilities :

Core functions of a PriorityWorkforce Claims Management Assistant include but are not limited to :

  • Set up and enter new claims into the claims management system.
  • Responsible for 24-hour contact with injured workers and weekly follow-up.
  • Investigate and fill out relevant information to assist in investigating the claim.
  • Aggressively pursue claim resolution opportunities.
  • Communication with adjusters, defense attorneys, and physicians.
  • Review, prepare, create, and send letters, reports, and forms.
  • Answer and initiate telephone calls, set up medical appointments, and provide customer service as required.

  • Build excellent rapport with customers and ensure retention of existing business by thoroughly understanding client needs and expectations when it comes to Claims Management.
  • Requirements :

  • Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Prior experience with TempWorks is ideal.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Some college coursework is desired.
  • Valid drivers license
