Branch Operations Manager – Job Description
The Branch Operations Manager is responsible for supervising the daily operations of Universal Bankers and performing all levels of the Universal Banker function while maintaining an atmosphere of accuracy, courtesy, and professionalism.

Essential Functions
- Effectively motivate, manage, mentor, and retain all Universal Bankers at your branch.
- Observe team to make sure they are having meaningful conversations with our customers.
- Track and record training and competencies.
- Set and measure Universal Banker goals.
- Write annual and 90-day Universal Banker performance evaluations promptly.
- Identify and complete daily CTRs for your branch.
- Attend ongoing management training.
- Track and communicate to the Branch Operations Coordinator the cross-selling of products and services of Universal Bankers monthly.
- Perform branch opening and closing procedures in a manner compliant with our security procedures.
- Greet lobby guests with eye contact and a warm welcome.
- Process paying and receiving transactions, process monetary instruments, change orders, check and debit card orders, address changes, customer disputes, stop payment orders, reset online banking PINS, etc. while maintaining accurate records.
- Review new and existing account maintenance weekly.
- Proficiently operate Prism software platforms.
- Respond to customer needs and priorities and establish meaningful customer relationships.
- Identify cross-sell opportunities to broaden the customer banking relationship.
- Maintain current knowledge and constant compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
- Maintain correct cash limits in the drawer.
- Accurately count and balance drawer daily in compliance with set monthly balancing goals.
- Understand the bank’s funds availability policy and hold deposited funds as needed.
- Accurately fill out hold notices and provide them to customers in the appropriate time allowed.

- Extended periods of sitting or standing as well as typing and repetitive motion.
- Occasional lifting of coin bags, cash drawers, or boxes of 35 lbs.
- May be required occasionally to stoop or kneel.

Education and Experience
- High school diploma/equivalent education
- Customer service and cash handling experience
- 3 years of banking experience preferred
- 1 years of supervisor experience required
- 1 years of sales experience preferred
- Supervisory experience required.
Reporting
This position reports to the Branch Operations Coordinator.
Supervisory Responsibility
This role supervises the Universal Bankers.
Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a Full-Time position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, with occasional Saturdays 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Hours and work shifts may change in accordance with business needs. Exempt employees must have the ability to be on-call and available, as business needs require.
