Our company is seeking a skilled Petroleum Service Technician with expertise in Gilbarco, VeriFone, Wayne, Veeder Root, Franklin Fueling, and Red Jacket systems to join our team. We are a leading provider of petroleum equipment services for retail and commercial customers throughout the region.
As a Petroleum Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing installation, maintenance, and repair services for a variety of petroleum equipment systems. This includes but is not limited to fuel dispensers, POS systems, fuel management systems, and underground storage tanks. You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure that our customers receive timely and efficient service.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair petroleum equipment systems, including dispensers, POS systems, fuel management systems, and underground storage tanks.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and make recommendations for upgrades or replacements.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to petroleum equipment systems.
- Communicate with customers to explain equipment issues, repair options, and provide estimates.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide emergency service outside of regular business hours.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Petroleum Service Technician.
- Experience with Gilbarco, VeriFone, Wayne, Veeder Root, Franklin Fueling, and Red Jacket systems is required.
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills with the ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and repair complex equipment issues.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to petroleum equipment systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
